Denise Brooks-Williams
President & CEO, Bronson Battle Creek Denise Brooks-Williams is president and CEO of Bronson Battle Creek (formerly Battle Creek Health System) a 218-bed, all-private room community hospital providing a full range of outpatient and inpatient services in Calhoun County. Brooks-Williams has more than 20 years of senior executive healthcare leadership experience at Michigan hospitals including St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, Detroit Medical Center and Mercy Hospital. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Michigan. Brooks-Williams currently serves on the boards of the Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce, Battle Creek Unlimited, the University of Michigan Health Management and Policy Alumni Association, Albion Health Care Alliance, Integrated Health Partners, Bronson Battle Creek Hospital Community Partners, Irving S. Gilmore International Keyboard Festival, Battle Creek Family YMCA, the Institute of Diversity and serves as the alternate delegate to Regional Policy Board 5 of the American Hospital Association’s Section for Health Care Systems. She is former president, and current board member of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE). She is a past chair of the United Way Community Services, a past member of the Community Impact Cabinet, the Lighthouse of Oakland County board, and secretary of the board of Ennis Center for Children.
