Bronson Adult Critical Care Bronson's Adult Critical Care specialists are internal medicine doctors with additional training in critical care medicine. They provide intensive treatment for patients with life-threatening conditions, such as heart attack, stroke, severe breathing problems, sepsis and multi-organ failure. These conditions often affect many areas of the body and can cause organs to stop working. Critical care patients often need multiple medicines and specialized equipment, such as ventilators to help with breathing. Our specialists provide continuous treatment for these patients in an intensive care unit, where they can be closely monitored.
