Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology
This clinic provides services for children and teens with issues and/or questions concerning gynecologic disorders, including sexually transmitted diseases, contraceptive issues, menstrual disorders and related female health issues. This clinic operates in conjunction with the Adolescent Clinics at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies, providing multidisciplinary care with the services of pediatricians, adolescent specialists and psychologists available.

Pediatric Cardiology
Pediatric cardiologists (specially trained heart doctors for children) are on staff to conduct exams and assessments for all patients referred to Bronson's pediatric cardiology services. All staff members are trained to understand the unique ways illness affects children and to give the treatments children need. More info>

Pediatric Gastroenterology
Pediatric gastrointestinal (GI) care at Bronson helps children with digestive and related concerns. Family-centered services encourage family and primary care physicians to participate in planning to meet the needs of each child. More info>

Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, a service of Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies and Bronson Children's Hospital, treats children, adolescents and young adults with blood disorders and cancers in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic and in the hospital. The program is a full-member institution of the National Cooperative Children's Oncology Group, which ensures state-of-the-art therapy for children and adolescents with cancer. Board certified pediatric hematologists/oncologists play a central role in coordinating the care of these complex diseases.

Pediatric Infectious Disease
The Pediatric Infectious Disease service at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies provides inpatient and outpatient consultations and care for children with both acute and chronic infections and immune deficiencies.

Pediatric Multi-Handicap/Myelodysplasia
The Multi-Handicap Clinics at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies serve as a resource for the community, providing multidisciplinary care and consultation for children with a variety of genetic, congenital and developmental disorders. The team members include pediatrics, orthopedics, psychology, dietician services, speech, occupational and physical therapy, orthotics, and social work.

Pediatric Nephrology
Pediatric Nephrology at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies provides inpatient and outpatient consultations and care for patients with acute and chronic renal failure, hypertension and other diseases of the kidney.

Pediatric Neurology & Neurosurgery
Bronson provides diagnosis and treatment of the entire spectrum of neurological problems in infancy and childhood.  More info>

Pediatric Nutrition
Nutrition is an important health concern at any stage of life. Because infants and children have different nutritional needs than adults, Bronson Children's Hospital employs a staff of nutritionists that specialize in pediatric nutrition. Our experienced pediatric nutrition staff is available to provide both inpatient and outpatient nutrition assessment and counseling for infants and children, from birth through adolescence. Services provided include: evaluation of growth, computer analysis of recorded dietary intake, assessment of nutritional needs, and counseling for a wide variety of diagnoses that affect nutrition and growth.

Pediatric Orthopedics
The Children's Hospital at Bronson offers surgical and nonsurgical care for children with injuries, conditions or problems of the bones, joints, muscles and spine.

Pediatric Pulmonology
The Pediatric Pulmonary Service at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies provides inpatient and outpatient care for patients with asthma, cystic fibrosis, and other acute and chronic pulmonary disorders. It is a nationally accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Bronson Pediatric Rehabilitation
Bronson Pediatric Rehabilitation offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services. Bronson's pediatric rehabilitation team has extensive experience in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. The team works collaboratively with school therapists, community resources, the parent and the patient.

Pediatric Rheumatology
Pediatric Rheumatology patients are seen in the Pediatrics Clinic at Michigan State University/ Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies by a board certified pediatric rheumatologist. Patients include those with inflammatory arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, and other rheumatic disorders. The pediatric rheumatologist is available to discuss patient management.

Pediatric Spasticity
The multidisciplinary clinic at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies serves the needs of children with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, myelodysplasia and other disorders associated with spasticity. The multidisciplinary team includes the pediatrician, physiatrist, orthopedist, neurosurgeon/neurologist, occupational therapists, orthotists and nursing support services. The team works in conjunction with the patient's primary care physicians to improve the function of children with spasticity.

Bronson Pediatric Surgery
Surgeons with Bronson Pediatric Surgery only treat neonates, infants, and children. They are specially trained in pediatric surgery. We provide a team approach, working with highly skilled anesthesiologists, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, urological surgeons, otolaryingolical surgeons, operating room nurses, pediatric intensivists, neonatologists, and other specialists, as well as maintaining communication with patients' primary care providers and families. The team also cares for children admitted through Bronson's Level I Trauma and Emergency Services. More info>
