Infusion Care

Infusion care is intravenous therapy used in many different treatments. Patients often choose to receive their care in our convenient outpatient Infusion Suite.  Our program includes:

  • Providing education and counseling for patients and families
  • Coordinating home care plans
  • Monitoring how you react to therapy
  • Giving emotional support to ease the transition from hospital to home
  • Coordinating insurance payments

Services

  • Outpatient chemotherapy
  • Blood transfusions
  • Hydration therapy
  • Giving medicines:
    • Steroids
    • Hematopoietic agents
    • Antibiotics
    • Antiviral medicine
    • Antifungal medicine
    • Gamma globulin
    • Inotropic drugs
  • Inserting central catheter (PICC) lines, midlines and peripheral lines
  • Monitoring the first dose of medications
  • Performing IV therapies

You must have a referral from your doctor for Bronson infusion services.
