Are you ready to turn over a New LEAF? The New LEAF Program is for adults who have problems with weight management. And it satisfies the pre-surgery requirements for Bronson employees with Bronson’s health insurance considering bariatric surgery. Do you have any of these symptoms of weight-related problems or metabolic syndrome?
- excess weight, especially abdominal fat
- high blood pressure
- high blood sugar/insulin resistance
- abnormal cholesterol levels
- sleep apnea
- arthritis
Services
This program helps you learn and practice lifestyle changes that can improve your health. Our multidisciplinary healthcare team will help you design your own personalized weight and health management program. Your personalized program will include:
- Weekly group education sessions led by our team
- Private, one-hour personal training sessions each week with an exercise physiologist
- Menus, recipes, and shopping lists you can customize for you
- A personalized meal plan designed by a dietitian
- A physician consultation at the end of the program to develop your ongoing plan
A physician referral is required for the New LEAF Program. Portions of this program may be covered by your health insurance. Please verify coverage with your insurance provider.

- Medical assessment and consultation with a physician
- Consultation with a mental health professional
- Nutrition consultation with a registered dietitian
- Fitness assessment with an exercise physiologist
