- Baby Weight Yarn
- Cast on 72 sts.
- K2, P2 for 3 inches.
- K 2 rows to make a ridge on right side.
- P 1 row
- Work in stockinette st for 14 rows.
- K 2 rows to make another ridge.
- P 1 row
- Next knit row; K 2 tog. across row.
- P 1 row.
- Repeat Dec. row until 9 sts remain.
- Leave a strand long enough to draw through these 9 sts and weave or sew up back seam.
- Top with pompom if desired.
