The mission of the Bronson Health Foundation is to provide support to Bronson Methodist Hospital and community partners in their efforts to improve the health status of individuals by promoting physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Vision
The Bronson Health Foundation is committed to becoming a pre-eminent hospital foundation. In fulfilling this commitment, the Foundation will continue to support Bronson Methodist Hospital and its related entities by:
- Striving to improve the health status of individuals by promoting their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being;
- Supporting Bronson’s healing environment in its many dimensions;
- Fostering collaborations with community groups and organizations to maximize its human and financial resources; and
- Striving to become a philanthropy of choice for people whose lives are touched by Bronson.
About Bronson Health Foundation
The Bronson Health Foundation was established in 1983 as a means for the generosity and kindness of individuals to connect with Bronson Methodist Hospital and support its healing mission.
Today, Bronson Methodist Hospital is a major regional medical center that provides more charity care than most hospitals its size. It is the region’s only children’s hospital and high-risk pregnancy center, and as a Level I Trauma Center, it delivers the highest possible level of emergency and critical care services. This contributes to making Bronson a community treasure and a vital resource—not only for Kalamazoo, but for many area communities
Locally owned and governed, Bronson’s mission, values and actions are deeply woven into the fabric of our community. For more than a century, those whose lives have been touched by illness or injury have relied on Bronson. Patients are grateful for the essential medical services it provides, as well as its commitment to serve all people regardless of ability to pay. Families count on Bronson to always be there for them. Creating a safer, healthier future for our community requires help from people like you.
In accordance with the State and Federal tax codes, the Bronson Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donors may deduct contributions to as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers, or gifts to or for use of the Bronson Health Foundation are deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes if they meet the applicable provisions of sections 2055, 2106, and 2522 of the Internal Revenue Code.
