Cheryl Knapp has worked in various positions at Bronson for the past 30 years. Her current responsibilities include patient satisfaction for the entire Bronson system, research and home healthcare for Bronson Methodist Hospital and she is Chief Quality Officer for Bronson Battle Creek. Knapp is Bronson’s executive liaison for the Michigan Hospital Association Keystone Center for Patient Safety and Quality. She is Board Chair for Michigan Health Association's Patient Safety Organization and was a Baldrige examiner in 2002 and 2003. She has been a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) for the past 20 years. Knapp became a Registered Nurse through the Bronson School of Nursing, and received a bachelor’s degree in Health Studies and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.
