Cheryl Knapp has worked in various positions at Bronson for the past 25 years. Her current responsibilities include patient safety, organizational performance improvement, accreditation, research, and home healthcare. Knapp is Bronson’s executive liaison for the Michigan Hospital Association Keystone Center for Patient Safety and Quality. She was a Baldrige examiner in 2002 and 2003 and has been a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) for the past 15 years. Knapp became a Registered Nurse through the Bronson School of Nursing, and received a bachelor’s degree in Health Studies and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.
