KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Bronson Methodist Hospital welcomes Jacqueline Winnell, PA-C to Bronson Neurosurgery. Winnell joins the neurosurgery team of Alain Fabi, M.D., Bratislav Velimirovic, M.D., Ph.D. Daryl Warder, M.D., Ph.D., Gregory Wiggins, M.D., Jason Peterman, PA-C, Vie Saylor, PA-C and Emily Yonker, PA-C with Bronson Neurosurgery.
Winnell is a certified physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Central Michigan University and bachelor’s degree in biology from Alma College.
The neurosurgery team at Bronson performs surgeries that include the most advanced minimally invasive surgery techniques to treat brain tumors, vascular and movement disorders as well as spinal and peripheral nerve problems. They work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to best meet each patient’s individual needs. A collaborative team approach is an important component of the Bronson neuroscience program due to the complex nature of neurological cases.
