July 15, 2010
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – On Saturday, July 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., mountain climber Bo Parfet is stepping up at the Bronson Athletic Club to raise funds for three local charities: the Bronson Health Foundation, the Kalamazoo Nature Center and Specialized Language Development Center. He chose these charities due to their focus on helping kids overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.

Classified as a professional ski mountaineer, Parfet has traveled the world while conquering the Seven Summits (the highest mountains on every continent). He plans to climb Mt. Manaslu in September.
