Patient Satisfaction Survey
About the Survey
Healthcare systems across the country use patient satisfaction surveys to learn more about the experience patients have during their healthcare encounters. Bronson partners with a third party vendor, Press Ganey, to develop and administer our patient surveys. In some cases the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) develops the surveys.
Many of these come from the group of surveys known as the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®). CAHPS® surveys ask patients to report on their experiences with a range of healthcare services.
Who receives the survey?
Only Bronson patients are eligible to receive a survey. Not every patient gets a survey. Patients do not usually receive a survey for the same location or provider within 90 days of the previous survey.
In most cases, surveys are sent to patients by email, but can also be texted or mailed.
If you want to opt-out of the survey, call (269) 341- 8959.
How are the surveys collected and processed?
Press Ganey independently administers and compiles the survey results.
How are the survey results used?
Survey results are delivered to Bronson and shared with leaders and care teams. They are used to improve the care and experience of patients. In addition, our providers’ patient satisfaction ratings and comments are published online.
