In this three week class you will learn things that will to help you during pregnancy, labor, and delivery for vaginal and Cesarean section births, including:
- Relaxation
- Breathing patterns
- Coping skills to relieve discomfort
- Pain relief both natural and medical
- Support person's role
- Postpartum experience
The class includes a tour of the Bronson BirthPlace. Videos will be shown.
This class should be taken between the 28th and 38th week of pregnancy. We expect that each mom registered will bring a support person with her to class.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
This class takes place at the Bronson Battle Creek Outpatient Center.
Please bring 2 pillows and a beach towel or small blanket with you to class and dress in comfortable clothing. Floor exercises/positions of labor will be practiced in class.
You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class.
