The class includes a tour of the Bronson Birth Place.
This class should be taken between the 28th and 38th week of pregnancy. We expect that each mom registered will bring a support person with her to class.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
*Class content is the same at both the Bronson Battle Creek and Kalamazoo locations. If you live or work near Battle Creek, or the dates and times work better for you, you may choose to take this class there (even if you plan to deliver your baby at Bronson Kalamazoo). One exception is the tour during the last hour of the class. If you choose a prepared childbirth class in Battle Creek, you can still register for a free tour of the Birth Place in Kalamazoo.
Please bring 2 pillows and a beach towel or small blanket with you to class and dress in comfortable clothing. Also, if you have a birthing (exercise) ball or yoga mat, you may wish to bring those items. There will be floor exercises and positions in class.
You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class.
You will have about a 45-60 minute lunch break. There are cafeterias at Bronson or you will have time to go out.
The class will be held in the basement of the Bronson Gilmore Center for Health Education, Classrooms 3A & 3B
