During this class you will learn:
- Basics of baby care
- Choosing a pediatrician
- What to expect with your newborn
- Nurturing and soothing
- Bathing, diapering, and skin care
- Feeding (focused on bottle feeding; take Successful Breastfeeding class for more on breastfeeding.)
- Infant CPR
*Class content is the same at the Bronson Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and South Haven locations.
*Baby Care Class is meant for expectant parents, while Grandparents Baby Care class is meant for expectant grandparents. They are the same class where you can sit and learn together with other parents and grandparents, but the registration information is different. Please encourage grandparents to sign up with you under the title "Grandparents Baby Care Class".
This class should be taken between the 28th and 38th week of pregnancy. We invite each mom registered to bring a support person with her to class, and this in included in your registration fee.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
This class takes place at the Bronson Battle Creek Outpatient Center.
You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class.
