When comparing national health systems based on system’s quality, safety, cost and patient experience metrics, Bronson Healthcare rose to the top. This program provides an objective measure of health system performance overall and offers insight into the ability of a system’s member hospitals to deliver consistent top performance across the communities they serve, all based on our national health system scorecard.
Rural Hospital Top Performance Award (2016)
The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and iVantage recognized Bronson LakeView Hospital for top quartile performance in quality and patient satisfaction.

Bronson LakeView was recognized for using evidence-based clinical processes that are shown to improve treatment of pneumonia.
Governor's Award of Excellence for Improving Patient Safety and Quality of Care in a Critical Access Hospital Setting (2012, 2017, 2024)
Presented by MPRO, Michigan's Quality Improvement Organization, these awards recognize Bronson LakeView and Bronson South Haven Hospital for its success in such areas as Medication Safety, AMI Transfer and Effective Reporting and Measurement.

Environment
Healthy Food Hospitals Campaign - Four Stars (2010-2020)
Bronson LakeView Hospital is part of the Healthy Food Hospitals campaign, which gives Michigan hospitals the opportunity to model exemplary food service choices and nutritional selections to support the health of all those who walk through their doors. The heightened emphasis and understanding of healthy eating is also designed to inspire such choices by patients and others after they leave the hospital. The initiative encompasses four steps or "stars." The combined implementation of all four stars displays the importance of healthy eating, weight management and the modeling of healthy food environments. Bronson LakeView Hospital is on track to achieve all applicable stars.

Bronson is one of three healthcare organizations in Michigan to receive this award. To select America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women, Newsweek identified the top 600 companies in the U.S. for women. The study surveyed over 37,000 women working for companies that employ at least 1,000 people. The study collected over 224,000 reviews across all industry sectors. Final scoring was based on company image, corporate culture, working environment, work-life balance, training and career progression, compensation and benefits, sustainability awareness and proactive management of the diverse workforce.

In Michigan, Bronson is the 3rd highest ranking employer among hospitals and health systems and is ranked 17th overall across all employer categories and industries in the state. Evaluation criteria included safety of work environment, competitiveness of compensation, inclusive culture, opportunities for advancement, open to telecommuting, and how likely employees are to recommend their employer to others.
Working Mother's "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers" (2003-2008, 2010-2012)
Bronson Healthcare is among 100 U.S. companies recognized by Working Mother magazine for family-friendly benefits that are helping redefine workplace standards across the country. Bronson was measured and scored in seven areas: workforce profile, benefits, women's issues and advancement, child care, flexible work, parental leave and company culture.

Epic Gold Stars Award (2022)
Bronson achieved Epic Gold Stars Level 10. This is the highest recognition possible and places Bronson in the top 4% of healthcare organizations using Epic electronic medical record (EMR) technology. The Epic Stars program measures organizations in several focus areas: patient access, patient experience, clinical quality and safety, population health management, physician productivity, nursing productivity, and value from data.

Hospitals & Health Networks (H&HN) magazine, the lead publication of the American Hospital Association (AHA), recognizes Bronson LakeView Hospital as a Most Wired hospital.
