Corey La Gro Story
In 2007, Corey La Gro was diagnosed with cancer. He went through chemotherapy and radiation at the Bronson Cancer Care Center - Battle Creek. Six months later, doctors declared him in remission. Corey, who is part of the Feldpausch family and the Feldpausch Foundation started this annual golf outing as a way to support others battling cancer. Corey continues to be an advocate for the Bronson Cancer Care Center - Battle Creek within the community and also serves on the Bronson Health Foundation Board of Directors.
Nattaly Brown Story
Nattaly Brown was just four years old when she was diagnosed with cancer. Her visits to the Bronson Children's Hospital Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic were made easier thanks to the pediatric specialists, nurses and child life team members who provided physical and emotional comfort along the way.
Nattaly passed away at age 7 in 2017. In 2018, the Nattaly Brown Child Life and Expressive Arts Endowment was created in her memory. Proceeds from the 2018 Feldpausch Outing helped establish the endowment.
