Kenny Powell Donor Advised Fund

How can we help you?

Kenny Powell Memorial Donor Advised Fund

Kenny Powell was a member of the Bronson Community for more than 40 years. He is remembered for his accomplishments and his connection throughout the Bronson Community. Past President and CEO of Bronson Healthcare, Frank Sardone remembered Kenny as "One of the most dedicated people he had ever met. Who had a sense of humor that helped break the ice and help the team get things done."

Remembering Kenny

In 2018, a plaque (pictured above) honoring Kenny was placed in the tunnel at Bronson Methodist Hospital near the Facilities department.

Being Remembered by Friends

“Kenny was not only my friend and coworker but together we made it our mission to make Bronson Hospital Better!” - Chris Schipper (Skippy)

"He bled Bronson Green. Kenny’s name still comes up in almost every meeting I attend at Bronson. I think this is a tribute to his legacy! It was fun and sometimes a little scary to work with a man that had so much intensity and attention to detail." - Derek Rowe

Projects Funded in Kenny's Memory

Funds were raised for two projects in Kenny's memory. The three projects that were completed were:

Pediatric Sedation Suite Renovation

This art is designed to help calm and distract our young patients by creating a soothing atmosphere.

Pediatric Family Lounge Redesign

The pediatric family lounge received a substantial refresh.  With Kenny’s love for gathering with family and friends, this space now reflects that warmth and promotes family connections during their hospital stay.

Bronson Veteran's Artwork

In recognition of Kenny’s military service and his dedication to Bronson, funds were directed toward a large art piece as a tribute to all Bronson employees who have served.  It is displayed outside of the gift shop on the first level of BMH.

In remembrance, a group of individuals established a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) to honor and continue Kenny's legacy at Bronson. This fund will be used to fulfill projects that would have been meaningful to Kenny and will continue to be completed in his memory. We invite you to consider a gift to honor Kenny and continue his legacy at Bronson.
