Bronson Children's Hospital Holiday Workshop

Each year the Child Life, Art Therapy, and Music Therapy department hosts the Bronson Children's Hospital Holiday Workshop in December. For the last two years, this event has taken place in the Gilmore Center and the staff is always such a joy to work with. The workshop is a multi-day event that serves all caregivers admitted to Bronson Children's Hospital, including both Pediatrics/PICU and NICU. This year 53 families were able to shop the free event for all children in their lives. In addition to the families served, 34 Bronson employees and 24 community members volunteered their time to make this event possible for a total of 132 hours served over the course of 4 days!

The staff at the Gilmore Center are always willing to support the needs that arise and do what is needed to ensure a successful event! Not only is the Holiday Workshop a large undertaking, but they are also wonderful to work with leading up to and afterward as we accept all incoming donations at their main doors throughout the year! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful Meeting & Events team at Bronson and I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to work so closely with each of them, but especially Kayla, Kyle, Elizabeth, Australia, and Emmily!
