This act of kindness made her patient feel clean and refreshed

Abby is a Burn Tech on the Trauma Care Unit at Bronson Methodist Hospital. One time, she had a patient who was hospitalized following an accident. Abby took the time to properly wash the patient’s hair, removing dried on blood and glass that still remained. Abby then found some brand new hair ties and proceeded to braid the patient’s hair. The patient told other team members that this small act helped her feel clean and refreshed her spirit.
