Donating was such an easy process, and I was helped every step of the way

Last September, my husband and I were blessed to welcome our fifth child into the world. Shortly after, I was bleeding internally and I was fighting for my life. Before being wheeled off for emergency surgery, donated breast milk was offered for our precious son. This brought me such comfort that in a time I could not be present and give him this perfect nutrition, he could still receive it through the generosity of another!

Through my significant blood loss and major surgery, we did not know if my milk supply would come in. Miraculously it did, but I have learned there are many other mothers who are not so lucky. This is what inspired us to donate my milk to the Bronson Milk Bank. Donating was such an easy process, and I was helped every step of the way!
