Arranging a Christmas Miricle

Ashley Fretwell is a nurse on the Bronson Methodist Hospital Ortho Surgical Unit. She has been a nurse here at Bronson for over 8 years and has always had a heart of gold. She was caring for a patient that was transitioned to comfort care on her shift. The patient’s daughter was 8-weeks pregnant, and Ashley took it upon herself to arrange for an ultrasound to be performed in the room so the dying patient could see his unborn grandchild before he passed. This happened around Christmas time, so Ashley helped arrange a Christmas miracle for this family. Truly touching. What an amazing, caring heart she has and every single person she comes in contact with feels the joy she radiates.
