She made everything so much easier and magical for us so that we could have the best birth possible
Cheyenne, RN, was amazing. We went in to start our induction via cook catheter early in the day but had to come in shortly afterwards to triage as contractions started early. L&D was super booked so we didn't get a room quickly but Cheyenne made it so we didn't feel alone during our time in triage. She was absolutely wonderful in triage and made sure we felt comfortable while we were figuring out our move forward. She left for the day and we were transferred to Labor and Delivery later that night. She then was our nurse the next day while we were in delivery and helped us through a long process of pitocin and eventually the birth of our daughter. I was scared to get an epidural and she was able to talk me through it and helped me every step of the way. She was so kind and seemed to always be there when we needed it. She coached me through different positions and made me feel so seen. I had a crazy end of labor that ended up being pretty traumatic and she was there making sure I wasn't freaking out. After we were transferred to mother/baby she came in the next day and gave us a hat that she crocheted herself for our little girl in our nursery colors! She wasn't even on our service but she made the effort to come see us and check in! She made everything so much easier and magical for us so that we could have the best birth possible.
