My husband, Robert Meyer, had open heart surgery at Bronson Methodist Hospital on Jan 25, 2023. We are so thankful to the surgeon, Dr. Amin, the anesthesia team, Dr. Schrock and Derek Rouse CRNA, the surgical team, the pre-op and post-op nurses and the surgery tech who got my husband prepped and ready for his surgery. The cardiac ICU nurses were outstanding. We felt extremely comfortable with their knowledge and compassionate care. I would highly recommend this hospital for open heart surgery. My husband did so well, he was discharged on post-op day three. The anesthesia department did an amazing job of extubating my husband after his procedure. We are truly thankful for this excellent care.
