What makes a good medical professional or healthcare worker? I think the answer is quite simple and yet so easy to become desensitized to with such a physically and emotionally demanding job. I believe it's someone that cares and someone that listens.

I have endometriosis. My diagnosis took a very long time to get. I saw professional after professional and my pain just wasn't taken seriously. I've now had four surgeries and half my reproductive system removed. Being medically gaslit is something I'm unfortunately familiar with, so when there are people who take me seriously and are simply kind, it's such a relief and something that I'm grateful for.

I came in with a kidney infection and was treated so kindly by Bronson Urgent care staff they treated me with kindness, dignity and above all - they listened. Thank you so much for all that you do, for caring about your jobs and for showing humanity.
