I am writing to wholeheartedly nominate Lanie Santos for recognition as an outstanding Labor and Delivery nurse. As a first-time mom, I walked into labor feeling nervous, unsure, and honestly a little overwhelmed. Lanie made me feel completely safe throughout my entire labor and delivery experience. She had a calm, steady presence that immediately put me at ease. She explained every step clearly, answered all of my questions without hesitation, and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed. Knowing she was there gave me a deep sense of comfort and trust during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life.

What stood out most was her encouragement. When labor intensified and I doubted myself, Lanie reminded me of my strength. She spoke with kindness and confidence, helping me believe that I could do it. Her reassurance gave me the courage to push through the hardest moments.
