A big thank you to the Child Life Specialists

I am writing to thank the Child Life Specialists here at Bronson. They have made a world of difference for my children on multiple occasions - both when they were patients and while waiting for their daddy in surgery.

Today, the child life specialist brought my children St. Patrick's day crafts and teddy bears complete with handmade hospital gowns.

On another occasion, they were vital helping my six-year-old son prep for a stomach scope.

Finally, years ago, they were a saving grace for my son in the ED and for his overnight stay.

I would like to thank those who donate stuffed animals, teddy bear-sized hospital gowns, homemade blankets, and more. My son received a handmade blanket four years ago during his overnight admission. It has been his "blanklie" complete with chew holes and worn with years of love.

I will never forget the kindness that has been shown to my children in some of the most anxiety-filled times in their lives.
