I Hope to Donate Breast Milk Again in the Future

I first found out about being able to donate breastmilk on social media. After researching it more and officially reaching out to become a donor, the process was easy and the team at Bronson Mothers' Milk Bank was super helpful!

Along with nursing, I was pumping in the mornings with the thought of being able to continue to give my baby breastmilk after I was done nursing, but ended up exclusively nursing after nine months and not bottle feeding as planned. Because of this, I had an excess of breastmilk that I hadn't included in my regular donations, and the Bronson team helped me properly label these additional milk bags for donation, totaling 966 ounces.

Seeing the updates of where my milk went and the nutritional value were all added bonuses to the experience. I hope to be able to donate milk again in the future!
