Mariah went above and beyond

I was working with Mariah Cochran in the Emergency Department recently when a father came in with his sick child. Since they did not speak English, typically it's our standard to use an interpretation device, but Mariah went so much further. She took his vitals and evaluated him but also used the translator service to not only see if the child would like some toys, but also asked dad if he was ok with him having an iPad or if he would prefer his son not to have electronic devices. I know it seems like such a little thing, but I see her do these little things to improve patient comfort all the time and I know it means a lot to them.
