Everyone loves Gigi!

Gigi is our unit clerk on the Bronson Methodist Hospital General Care Unit.

Mainly out of request by the patient, Gigi recently sat with a challenging pediatric patient several nights in a row. The patient responded so well to her. Gigi was so attentive, compassionate and interactive with the patient, giving them options of activities the two could do together. She made the patient so happy, from coloring, watching TV, playing with play dough and just talking. Making sure the patient was safe made the nursing staff’s jobs easier. Gigi even cleaned up the room, reorganizing and cleaning surfaces, toys and equipment during patient rest/sleep times. This helped set the patient up for success in the mornings.

Everyone Gigi interacts with is so happy and excited to see her, no matter what unit/department they are from.
