Everyone was professional, respectful and should make your facility proud
I was a patient on the second-floor, general surgery unit, for ten days. I had complications, but the nursing team remained on top of the situation. There were several nurses and PCA's who went above and beyond to brighten my day. Those nurses are:
All of these nurses went above and beyond to make sure my pain was under control, I had my medication on time and that I was getting sleep. They had great service, care and skills, making sure things went as smoothly as possible. When we hit a bump in the road, they just went with the flow and switched course, no panic.
There were also several PCAs who demonstrated those same qualities - always being cheerful, helpful, anticipating needs and showing that they truly loved their jobs. Those PCA's are Paige:
- Paige (days, studying to be a PA) - just an awesome person
- Olivia "Livvy" (days, going to start nursing school)
- Madi (nights, very compassionate person who loves her job)
Also a thank you to:
- The food service staff
- Marcie from housekeeping who cleaned my room daily. Your quiet smile brightened my days.
- Thank you to the IR radiology and CT staff. We became too good of friends. Thanks for all you did.
Last but not least to my doctors:
- Dr. Munene
- Dr. Lucas T
- Dr. Chilichuri
These doctors - their knowledge overwhelmed me. They had courteous bedside care that is second to none. Their skills will be a blessing to many people. Thank you so so much.
All the people who I had contact with were professional, respectful and should make your facility proud!
