Forever grateful for Madi & Emilee

I was so fortunate to have Madi as my day nurse and Emilee as my night nurse while giving birth to my son. This was my first child and I did not know what to expect.

• Madi was beyond knowledgeable about labor and she considered my birth goals and was able to help guide me step by step to make the progress I needed to help delivery my son safely. She was kind, very intelligent, helpful and encouraging. Labor doesn't always go as planned and with each "hiccup" she was right there to validate my feelings and help me feel like my choices were the right choice for me. She understood the importance of the birth experience and that my feelings around it mattered. For that I will forever be grateful, I can't express how important that was to me. 
• Having a nurse who was as knowledgeable and caring as Emilee is something I could not be more grateful for. She exceeded every and any expectation I could have had for a nurse. The 2nd night we were there, my husband and I leaned on her so much in every way to help us through labor and everything that comes with it. Truly we couldn't have had a better nurse or experience because of her. With every decision that was made we looked to her for guidance. She always met us with the most professional, skilled, thoughtful replies and educated us along the way so my husband and I could make the best decisions. 

I hope Madi and Emiliee know how important and valued they are to every person they take care of. They will forever be important people in our family's story and we will continue to be grateful for them throughout our son's life.
