Flag Raising Ceremony Honors Life-Saving Impact of Donors During Donate Life Month

In honor of Donate Life Month, Bronson hosted a flag raising ceremony, symbolizing the life-saving impact of organ donation. During the event, we heard from Bronson Methodist Hospital's COO, Kim Hatchel, and Gift of Life Michigan's Vice President, Bruce Nicely, who emphasized the significance of organ donation and its ability to change the lives of those within our community.

We spoke with Nancy Blodgett, a donor mother who shared her journey with Gift of Life as she recounted the difficult decision she made to donate her child's organs which has left an incredible impact on countless lives. Through her testimony, attendees were reminded of the impact of organ donation, honoring the legacy of donors and the gift of life they gave.
