Heather Simon, NP-C, is Always Patient and Kind

I have been struggling with my mental health and undiagnosed ADHD for awhile now. Its made my life really difficult. I have a history of other doctors not listening to me, or all but telling me I was lying even while I'm in tears on their exam table because I'm so depressed I don't know how to survive. This has made seeking help very difficult because I have often felt why am I going to spend the time and money only to be turned away yet again.

I decided to try one more time to find a new primary care provider (PCP) and looked up a few providers. After reading over a few profiles, I decided to go with the Heather Simon, NP-C. She is an angel in a lab coat. She is always patient and kind. When a medication isn't working she discusses it with me and finds out what's not working and makes adjustments. She's never once treated me like I'm a liar or a faker or that I'm just trying to get medications I shouldn't have.

She's worked with me to get specialist to do assessments to find out the severity and validity of my conditions and when a diagnosis is confirmed she seems to have endless patience to help me find the find combination and dosage of medications. She always offers me options instead of restricting me to only one thing she thinks will work. She always takes me seriously and doesn't make me feel bad for asking for adjustments.

I am forever grateful for her and I hope whoever she reports to knows how wonderful she is. I still have struggles, but they are manageable now and when they aren't it will be easier for me to trust my PCP to let them know that I need more help.
