Her saving angel

I want to nominate Nurse Zayne Klaski, or as my mom called her, her saving angel. Although my mother passed away after a month of being in the hospital, she lit up every time Zayne was around. Nurse Zayne really showed compassion and love and my mom trusted her enough to do things others couldn’t get her to do. She was so calm when getting my mom to transfer from the bed to chair when everyone else had her Anxiety so high she couldn’t get up. I know those little things added more days for her to be with her family and friends.

Nurse Zayne would sit and talk to her to bring her O2 up so she could eat. She would sing and dance with me when mom was down. She called her 'Mama' and my mom felt she had another daughter. If she had a moment, she would bring mom ice cream and feed it to her. Once she even came in on her day off just so mom could see her pretty face. She really loved Nurse Zayne and didn’t hesitate telling her.

I was so blessed to be able to step away and know my mom was ok. Any time she had a moment she was checking on her and even took time when she was working others to be close so mom could try just a little harder to sit up and she did. She has the purest heart and I hope anyone that has the pleasure of having Nurse Zayne care for them knows there getting a special person who really cares and it shows.
