Our incredible mother and mother-in-law, Mary Rapelje, battled cancer with remarkable grace and strength for four years. Throughout her journey, Mary often reflected on how fortunate she felt to have the means to afford the care she needed, allowing her to focus solely on her health. As Mary neared the end of her life, her sons-in-law, Dexter and Dan, organized a fundraising golf outing in her honor. This event was not only a tribute to her spirit, but also an opportunity for her to witness the impact of her legacy. Mary attended the inaugural golf outing in October 2020. After Mary’s passing, our family sought a way to ensure her legacy lived on. What began as a simple idea five years ago has evolved into a significant annual event. Our golf outing raises substantial funds to provide vital support, through Bronson Health Foundation, to individuals and families who face challenges similar to those Mary once faced. Mary’s legacy lives on through these efforts, and her story inspires us to continue making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
