A Grateful Mother's Journey: How Bronson Made All the Difference

I delivered my son on October 15, 2022, and shortly after he was born, his care team and I noticed he needed specialized care. Thankfully, Bronson Children’s Hospital wasn’t far, and he was transferred there right away. I followed just hours later. The NICU team was there for us every step of the way. Having a NICU baby is an experience like no other, and while it was overwhelming at times, the kindness and support of the staff made all the difference.

From the moment we arrived, the nurses provided reassurance and compassion, making sure I never felt alone. They even helped arrange for me to stay nearby so I could be close to my son in those crucial first days. The live camera system was a wonderful tool that allowed my family and me to check in on him when I couldn’t be there in person, which gave me so much peace of mind.

Every member of the team, from the nurses and doctors to the cafeteria staff, played a role in making a difficult time more manageable. Their warmth, expertise and dedication will always hold a special place in my heart. If I ever have another child, I know exactly where I’ll be going for care – Bronson! I’m forever grateful for the exceptional experience we had and the incredible people who helped my baby get the best start in life!
