How One Small Act of Kindness Made a Big Difference

At Bronson, safety is more than a priority — it’s a value we live every day. That’s why we are proud to recognize Demesha (Mesha) Moore, Environmental Services (EVS) Associate at Bronson Methodist Hospital, as our Q2 2025 Safety Hero. Mesha's nomination reads:
During a recent shift, while cleaning and restocking patient rooms, Mesha noticed a fellow Bronson employee who didn’t look well. They appeared down and sad, so Mesha stopped to check in. As they talked, the employee shared that they were considering taking their own life.
Mesha stopped everything and just hugged this person. She then took them to a quiet space, called Bronson’s chaplain service and connected them with a social worker to ensure they had support and care in that critical moment.
Mesha has a special heart and truly cares for others. I appreciate so much her caring spirit. Thank you, Mesha, for taking the time to help a person in need. Your empathy, compassion and quick thinking likely saved a life that day.
