In the short time she was here she filled our hearts bigger than we could ever imagine.
After the heartbreaking loss of 3 ½-year-old Eva Martin after a tragic accident, her parents and brother asked those attending her memorial to donate stuffed toys instead of flowers. The family recently delivered the nearly 700 animals to Bronson Children’s Hospital to bring comfort to patients and families during challenging times.

“We asked for people to send stuffed animals in Eva’s honor so we could bring them here to the children’s hospital. We wanted other families to feel the warmth we felt in whatever unfortunate circumstance that they find themselves in having to be here at the hospital.
We know how much Eva would have loved to dive into all of these stuffed animals and pick her favorites. Hopefully the kids that are going to get them are going to love them just the same as Eva would. She was a giver of love, affection, her smile, her light everything… this is her. This is a little gift that she could do for other families going through such hard things. In the short time she was here she filled our hearts bigger than we could ever imagine. We are just so grateful that something like this will help us to carry that on and think of the good and the light that she brought.”
