The Staff Made Everything Go Very Smoothly for Our Three-Year-Old

Brielle, a Bronson outpatient surgery patient, smiles from a hospital bed before a procedure.

My daughter, Brielle, had outpatient surgery in June. We were very nervous about this day and how things would go. We were pleasantly surprised on how well things went. I can't remember names, but everyone from the front desk staff, the PCA, our nurse, the child life specialist, the anesthesiologist and the doctors were all so wonderful and welcoming.

Brielle had a tea set to play with along with a teddy bear with a hair net on it to keep her company. They let her decorate her breathing mask and the child life specialist even found a Bat Girl sticker for her, which was her favorite. The surgery was quick and the post-op nurse was wonderful, too.

Our daughter was very happy with her popsicle and had no pain following surgery. It was very scary leading up to this day, but the staff made it go very smoothly for our three-year-old. Thank you.
