Bronson Positivity is us ALL working together toward a common goal – to provide the best care for our patients, their families/loved ones and the community.

My Career Path
I started as a staff PT in 1995, moved into an Acute Care Clinical Specialist role in 1997. I was in that role until 2002, after which I took 5 years off to stay home with my two kids.
I returned in 2007, PRN, then moved to part time and then full time as the kids got older. In 2018, I moved into the newly formed role of Acute Care Staff Development Instructor (SDI). I was an SDI until 2021, when I became an Acute Care Rehab Manager.
All my leaders have been supportive of my career moves, providing support, education and resources. That support is ongoing even today.
A Day in the Life
Each day starts with evaluation – how many patients do we have on our rehab census? How many therapists are here today? What are the urgent patient care needs?
Then it is a mix of supporting staff, participating in rehab and multi-disciplinary initiatives, collaborating with the other rehab and hospital leaders – all being re-prioritized as things come up throughout the day, but that all lead to better patient care.
What I Enjoy Most About My Job
The rehab staff here at Bronson Methodist Hospital is awesome. I love how we all support each other, learn from each other and care about each other. We are always working together to move our rehab patient care practices forward. I love the multi-disciplinary collaboration between many departments and disciplines here. I learn something new every day.
