I am grateful for the care I have received from Bronson Internal Med and the Neurology Department.

I recently had a concussion scare, when I accidentally fell and hit my head, with subsequent headaches. I have a history of head trauma with subsequent brain bleeding, so was proactive in seeking care with symptoms. I was seen promptly on a Friday afternoon by Kim Budner, PA at the internal med office on Stadium Dr. She immediately got a CT scan ordered, with prompt results. However, she did refer me to Bronson Neuroscience Center- Kalamazoo for a concussion evaluation. Anita Buitenwerf, NP worked me into her schedule. Ultimately my results indicated no repeat bleeding. I was evaluated with concern and confidence and left feeling reassured and relieved. I was given some instructions for going forward and instructed not to hesitate to reach out again if symptoms worsen. I am grateful for the care I have received from Bronson Internal Med and the Neurology Department.
