Every Single Person was Wonderful and Kind

My 5-year-old son had a surgical procedure and every single person was wonderful and kind from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. There are a few specific people I would like to recognize!

Joe, our pre-op PCA was lovely. He was so kind and we loved that he shared his story about how he came to Bronson. He set the tone for a really personable experience and we all felt more relaxed immediately.

Bridgette from Child Life is an absolute treasure. She was the perfect person for our son. We were so grateful that not only did she spend time helping him feel better in pre-op, she accompanied him back to the OR playing pirates the whole way. He couldn’t have been more relaxed going back, and that was so good to see as an anxious parent.

Chloe was our PACU nurse and she was lovely too. She was clear, patient and detailed in her post op instructions. She was attentive and reassuring and took every bit as good care of me as she did my son.

We also have to give recognition to Dr. Corbin Sullivan. He is so calm and kind it’s impossible not to feel reassured. I would recommend him to anyone whose child needs an ENT surgery.

We are so grateful to the whole team. Although the department was clearly busy, we never felt rushed, unattended or that our child was “one of the many”. From start to finish we had the kind of experience that you can only wish for!
