I would gladly trust this staff with my life again

This year has been rough. I am 28 years old and finding out about some serious health problems. One of those problems was gallstones, painful ones, ones that made me feel like I was having a heart attack. I would rather have had that pain many more times than have surgery, but I knew that wasn't the right choice. I went in terrified to have my gallbladder removed, I was so scared that my veins had shrunk, and they had to warm me up because I was cold and clammy. Every single doctor and nurse that took care of me there was reassuring, comforting, and provided me with such incredible care that I made it through that surgery, and am having a comfortable recovery. The two nurses that took care of me were so kind and funny that I almost didn't feel scared anymore. They gave me numbing cream and a numbing injection before putting in my IV, I didn't even notice it happened! They also provided me with tape to cover my piercings because I didn't want them to close in surgery. They comforted me the whole time and made sure that I felt safe. The anesthesiologist was wonderful too. He made sure I understood the process and risks of anesthesia, and based on my information, provided me with the correct type for a smooth surgery! Lastly, Dr. Minnick was my surgeon. He made sure I understood exactly what was happening and felt safe with it. When I tell you that this doctor went above and beyond, I mean it. He had to cut through one of my tattoos for this procedure, and he took the time and care to make sure that it was aligned and not crooked when he closed my incisions. Honestly, it was the least of my concerns because I was terrified, but even without being asked, he made sure that I was well taken care of. I would gladly trust this staff with my life again, though I hope I won't have to. Thank you all, if you read this. This experience was terrifying for me, and I couldn't have done it without you.
