I am Proud to be Part of the Amazing Work that Bronson Does
On December 5, 2002, I was in a traumatic car accident. I was airlifted from the scene to Bronson Methodist Hospital where I spent around a month in the Trauma ICU. I then was in in-patient rehab for 20 weeks recovering from a closed Traumatic Brain Injury. Afterwards I spent quite some time in outpatient rehabilitation. A brain injury in many instances is a life-altering and lifelong experience. I have had multiple surgeries since that time and continue to see a neurologist at Bronson.
Because of the work of the healthcare practitioners both at Bronson and other places, I was able to go to and graduate from Western Michigan University with honors. My senior year at Western I decided to apply for an externship at Bronson. This was one of my best decisions because almost 20 years later, I am still employed and proud to be a part of the amazing work that Bronson does in Southwest Michigan.
