Everyone wearing that Bronson logo holds the same values and respect

I love working as a Bronson athletic trainer because of the support and strength of our staff. Our department is backed not only by 25+ athletic trainers, but we also have the support of the entire Bronson Sports Medicine team and physical therapy department. I feel like Bronson truly sees our value within the system. In fact, we started this athletic training team with about 5-7 athletic trainers and have continued to grow, taking on work as team trainers for several southwest Michigan high schools. I love that Bronson is a regional health system, because it allows me to not only provide direct care to student-athletes, but I am able to help ensure the continuation of care because as athletic trainers, we are tied to an entire network of experts and services.  

I also find so much pride in working for Bronson because we are nationally ranked as a top employer. This gives me a sense of pride and belonging when I see that Bronson logo on my shirt.

Another key reason I continue to grow my career with Bronson is because of how well we are taken care of as employees. It's unmatched everywhere else. I have not found a better position that offers not only support in my job, but also support for my family. We have great insurance that takes care of my whole family along with HSA/FSA options. I have access to financial advisors for retirement and investment of my family's financial future. Also, I love that we have wellness reimbursement that has helped pay for gym memberships and has even helped us create our own gym at home. Other ways I have used this wellness reimbursement in the past include: paying for race registration for our fun runs and marathon races, and even covering the costs of our dog's annual vaccinations! On top of all that, we have life insurance plans, amazing PTO accruement, and annual reviews that determine our salary increases. All of this gives me a lot of security not only for myself but also my growing family. I am grateful to know that we are taken care of now and with plans for the future.

When I work with my own student-athletes, I try to always uphold that expectation because I am a representation of our network and our hospital. By doing my job with joy and to the best of my ability, I continue to raise the bar and uphold Bronson's reputation - creating that system of trust for all of my student-athletes and their families.
