Switching to new insurance can be overwhelming, especially when it results in denied medications that are crucial to your well-being. Recently, I faced this challenge when my new insurance denied coverage for my medication. However, I was incredibly fortunate to have the support of Dr. Philip Mataverde and medical assistant Gabrielle Goss. They were outstanding advocates, standing by my side as I negotiated with the insurance company for approval.

Although the insurance ultimately didn’t approve my medication, their dedication didn’t stop there. They took the initiative to apply for a patient assistance program on my behalf, ensuring I could continue accessing the life-changing medication I rely on. Their persistence, compassion and unwavering support turned a difficult situation into one filled with hope and positivity. I’m deeply grateful for their efforts and advocacy!
