Paul is hands-down the best nurse I have ever seen
My boyfriend is at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He’s been there for five days. When he arrived and was admitted, he had a nurse named Paul Carbone. I’ve lost two husbands to cancer and I’m very familiar with hospitals and their staff. I want it to be known that Paul is hands-down the best nurse I’ve ever seen. He was very attentive and checked on my boyfriend regularly. Paul put him totally at ease, as he is fighting stage four cancer. My boyfriend has looked forward to seeing Paul on the days that he worked. Paul answered any questions we had, and if he didn’t know the answer, he found out. My boyfriend experiences side effects from his treatment that make him uncomfortable and self-conscious. Paul handled it with care and respect. That goes a long way in a cancer battle.
Both of us enjoyed Paul’s personality and genuine care for my boyfriend. In today’s world, it’s getting harder and harder to find people that really care about the actual patients in their day-to-day jobs. It’s just a paycheck most times it seems. Paul said he’s been a nurse for nine years I believe. We were so impressed with him and it’s not easy to impress either of us.
