Thanks to David Gose, we left with smiles instead of tears

David Gose, PA-C, at the Bronson Burn & Wound Center was excellent in so many ways. I had alerted the staff that my two-year-old foster son had become reactive to new providers after his numerous medical appointments and OT/PT visits. David entered the room in a quiet and calm manner and actually made a connection with my foster son before ever trying to come close to him or do his exam. After that few minutes, David continued to tell my foster son what he was going to do so he felt comfortable and included. We left that appointment with smiles instead of tears and that was because David took the extra time to show kindness and care.

As for the front desk staff, they can set the tone of the office, and Sarah has to be the friendliest and most helpful front desk person I have ever encountered. Everyone we met in the office was great but she was a step above. Sarah called patients by name when they entered and truly took the time to talk to each person making them feel comfortable and welcome. She was who I had spoken on the phone to when trying to schedule the appointment and she was informative and kind then and even remembered us when we came for the appointment. That level of attention and care if rare but so very appreciated.
