She took such good care of my baby and me

Melissa K., RN, on night shift the night of 8-4-24 was so helpful when I was trying to nurse my new baby. She helped multiple times with positioning the baby and getting a latch. She also offered to hold the baby and take her to the nursery when I mentioned I was worried I’d fall asleep with the baby because I couldn’t get her to settle down in the bassinet. It gave me a couple hours of sleep and kept the baby safe and happy. I was very grateful for her help. I felt I could be open with her about worries I had. She was supportive and hands on in helping me troubleshot latching. She also mentioned me to that lactation is a priority which made me feel reassured that I would have help for feeding concerns.
